WWC operates under contract with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and will provide the Family Care benefit to eligible residents of Buffalo, Clark, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Pepin, Trempealeau and Vernon counties. Family Care expansion will result in the elimination of wait lists for home- and community-based long-term care services in the WWC service area by early 2011.

For more information about Family Care implementation in this region, we invite you to take a look around this site. We appreciate your patience as we add pages and make other improvements. In the meantime, we encourage you to join one of our e-mail distribution lists in order to receive the WWC newsletter and other important updates.

WWC is dedicated to optimizing the health and independence of members. Toward that end, we look forward to fulfilling the original intent of Family Care by improving access, choice, quality and cost-effectiveness within the state’s long-term care system.
